We do not collect your photos
PhotoDelete does not upload your photos, videos, library contents, or cleanup decisions to our servers. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data for advertising, and the app does not use third-party advertising tracking SDKs.
How Photos access is used
PhotoDelete uses Apple's Photos framework to read thumbnails and media information so it can show categories such as photos, videos, screenshots, Live Photos, and favorites. Swipe actions first add items to a candidate queue. Deletions or favorite changes are performed through the iOS Photos framework only after you confirm.
On-device data
The app may store the following data locally on your device to restore cleanup state and improve the experience:
- Cleanup progress, deletion candidates, favorite candidates, and reviewed-item records.
- App settings, preferences, and basic cleanup statistics.
- System-provided photo identifiers used locally to recognize the items you are organizing.
This data is not uploaded to our servers. Deleting the app generally removes app data stored locally on your device.
Purchases and payments
PhotoDelete's core cleanup features are free to use. The supporter edition is a one-time App Store in-app purchase that unlocks long-term stats, cleanup history, themes, and other advanced features while helping fund maintenance. Payment processing is handled by Apple, and we do not receive your card number or full payment details.
Website logs
This website may be hosted by Cloudflare Pages. For security, abuse prevention, and reliability, the hosting provider may process standard access logs such as IP address, user agent, request time, and path. Website logs do not contain your in-app photo library content.
Children's privacy
PhotoDelete does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we received such information by mistake, contact us at the email below.
Data deletion and contact
Because PhotoDelete's cleanup data is primarily stored locally on your device, you can delete the app to remove local app data. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
